Rediscovering my Roots!

This was a long drive into the villages of Uttar pradesh, where i had been to visit my nani after ages.

After having boarded a train from bangalore to Lucknow and a 3 day antakshari filled train journey we were quite exhausted when we finally arrived at the grand nawabi styled lucknow station .

From the station we rented a taxi n headed on a strenuous trip to my granny's village which was  a full 3 hour drive. Driving through the lush green fields, awash with colours of nature we discovered ourselves, our childhood memories, the old world magic of Lucknow and as fresh natural breeze fanned us even as the taxi went galloping like a horse on the kacha pakka roads of  interiors of lakhimpur.

We discovered the real core India , scantily clad children excited at the sight of a car, people having bath at a lake, buffaloes, , cows, bullock carts,  sugarcane fields and more.

When we reached some distance drops of water began do go peter patter ... it was rain splattering against green fauna, and that is when we saw a sight to behold a sight for sore eyes, a clear full Rainbow. Amist beauty of nature and almost setting sun it looked like

Heaven on Earth!

This beauty was etched in my mind forever

 It was  serene sublime experience away from the crowded traffic filled, polluted roads of Bangalore. This was my most memorable trip till date i miss not having time to visit my Granny and have more of such experiences daily

Prickly woes!

Smooth, smoother, smoothest !
 Dont we all just like men well groomed ? Kisses are meant to be enjoyed not turn into a prickly punishment session.

Here are tips to make him go get a shave!:

-Do an extra long drooling session with hot clean shaven actors in front of your man, make him go all 'J'

-Avoid the KISS!  every time he approaches for a kiss tell him his stubble pricks n avoid it .

- Ask Him to shave point blank!...... sing Mai Pareshaan Pareshaan every time you spot him with a stubble!

-If he doesnt budge at that Threat him that his next Birthday gift is going to be a super fabulous gillette razor and not a romantic surprise you were initially planning.... yes ladies make him crave so he shaves ;)

- If that doesnt work , go ahead actually gift him a razor ! Infact gift him an all personalized hamper, with shaving cream , after shaves and shaving brush etc, which will actually make him shave :D

- If he is still adamant go ahead give him a personal style make over on his birthday! Ask him 'ill shave you stubble off while you get to watch me do it all being this close to me ? wanna try?'

See him try saying NO to that ;)

Its a tit for tat ! shave or crave !

Tit for Tat is my simple and sure working answer!

We Women Put in so much of effort to look good, there is eyebrow threading, waxing, hair cuts, make up, and what not ! And men are so lazy and take us so lightly that they just SKIP the shave ! not done!
Dont we just love it when He takes the effort to look good, smell good and surprise you with wow gifts? He loves it too!

So, when your man is sporting repeated stubble, making kissing a big prickly fat pain , then stop and make him crave! Give him a taste of his own medicine, dress shoddily, keep yourself ungroomed n pass on the message .

My hubby had this real bad stubble craze or rather laziness drives and dint shave regularly. We were supposed to be on a dinner date together on a Friday, that is when i tried my tit for tat formula...
Hubby arrived home i was dressed in a drab little loose fitting tee and faded jeans and his reaction reaction was worth its worth in gold.

'Why are you not yet ready " he asked his eyes popping out !
Have you lost it ? I AM fully  ready all set to go!

exactly my question ! You dont take efforts to look good for me and well I have lost interest too! Fab or drab does it matter honey? as long as we are together!
Together My foot ! Date cancelled, message reaching right on the spot and a clean shaved and shiny hubby back !

When dashing hubby saath ho, to ghar pe dinner bhi date lage :) Well groomed wala Date ;)
